Roller Bunny is being featured in the October issue of 3DCreative.
As promised here’s a quick over view of my workflow. Thanks to everyone over at ZBrush Central for all the positive feedback!
Digital Art Masters volume 4 just shipped. That just so happens to feature a four page spread on the making of my Rajun’ Cajun’ Jug Band as well as 49 other great artists. The book receive more than double the number of art submissions this year, so I’m honored to have my work selected as one of the fifty.
Sony recently got bomber jackets made up based off my character design/ model of Grayson from the Resistance videogame. Kinda surreal seeing the jacket in real life since I spent so much time working on him in the virtual world.
Learning Maya right now (don’t ask why, I think its a pile of…) I’m mainly modeling a lot of simple shapes to get use to the tools or lack there of.
Decided to model one of my favorite childhood toys “The Big Wheel”! I’m planning on adding a kid to just to practice modeling a organic surface in Maya. :\
There’s been somewhat of a influx of hard surface characters being made nearly or completely in ZBrush lately. This is no easy task, but seeing the amazing results artists have been getting has forced me to try my hand at it. With a lot of trial and error and a awesome concept by Nick Smith this is what I came up with.
